Each year the county appraisal districts tend to raise the tax values on real estate higher and higher, leaving many people facing inflated tax bills. With our help, we can accurately place a value on your home that will not only assist with the current year’s taxes, but for all future years as well.
Many times when a home is financed with less than 20% equity, the lender will require a type of insurance known as Private Mortgage Insurance or PMI. Over time the value of your home may appreciate. Couple this appreciation with your monthly payments and your overall equity in the home may be at or above the required 20%. At this point canceling the PMI is just a matter of submitting an appraisal that reflects this. For instance, if your home is worth $200,000 and you only owe $160,000, you are now below the 80% threshold and most likely eligible to remove your PMI.
